Mentoring is a major component to the Wellspring School of Leadership experience. Every student at WSL is paired with a mature Christian mentor who walks with the student throughout her time at the school. This is an exceptional opportunity for students to learn first hand from someone who has been there before and knows what it takes to succeed in his career and in his personal life.
Each mentor is selected on the basis of her strong standing in the Christian community. Our mentors are known for their active leadership within the Christian community and in their respective professions. These are men and women whose lives are marked with the growing character of Christ.
Mentors maintain contact with their students weekly, meeting face-to-face at least once a month to discuss progress in the school, problems the student may be facing, personal struggles, or to investigate a new aspect of the life of the Christian leader. The agenda is up to the mentor and student so that each relationship and each encounter is unique.
